On Thursday 6 November 2025, Cactos hosted Cactos Live: Power from the North, a live broadcast where we introduced three new products. Steno, Mylo, and Nevado are advanced, intelligent battery energy storage systems that harness leading technology to meet Europe’s rapidly growing need for flexible, reliable energy storage.
The livestream also took viewers on a guided tour in our factory in Vihikari, Kempele, which opened last autumn. The broadcast featured Cactos’ insights into the opportunities of intelligent energy storage today and in the future, and how we help meet Europe’s rising demand for sustainable energy.

During the live broadcast, Cactos unveiled three new outdoor energy storage systems: Steno, Mylo, and Nevado.
Steno is a versatile outdoor battery energy storage system built on the proven foundation of our popular indoor model, Fero. With 215 kWh of storage capacity and 92 kVA of power per unit, Steno is designed for a wide range of commercial and public-sector energy optimization needs.
Mylo is a next-generation, liquid-cooled battery energy storage system built to deliver additional power and optimize energy use in demanding environments such as EV and heavy-vehicle charging stations and logistics hubs. Each unit provides 520 kWh of storage capacity and 260 kVA of power.
Nevado, a liquid-cooled battery energy storage system engineered for grid-scale projects, enables renewable energy storage, grid balancing, and participation in electricity wholesale markets. Available in three configurations, Nevado systems can be combined and scaled up to 50 megawatt-hours of storage capacity.
